2020 is almost over. I mean, let’s be honest — overall, this year pretty much sucked. With the pandemic continuing into the new year, and dealing with all of the uncertainty in the world right now, I know it feels like everyone’s collective psyche has gone down the sh*tter. But you know what? We can’t let that happen.
I know things aren’t the way we want them to be right now. But we’ve got to look for the little wins we’ve had along the way. When it comes to #PSNeverGiveUp, I might not have achieved everything I wanted to this year — but the fact that we’ve accomplished anything at all, while working from home, raising three small children and not driving each other totally nuts — is pretty amazing, I think.
Admittedly, the stress has taken a toll on my personal health. It’s taken a toll on personal relationships. But I’ve also experienced some pretty incredible moments these past few months — both personally and professionally. With PSNeverGiveUp, I started something I truly believe in — something I think we could all use right now. I designed and built a website on my own from the ground up.
With Amy’s help, we launched an online shop. And despite the lockdowns and all of the restrictions and limitations, I still managed to meet and interact with some amazing people from all across the country — and took part in some amazing and uplifting (though mostly virtual) events.
Our family been through so much together already — and we made some BIG changes this year — but all for the better. I truly believe that incredible things are going to happen in the new year.
Trying to launch a new business, with both of us working from home, and trying to maintain some sense of normalcy for our kids has been nothing short of chaotic — but it’s also made me realize how much I love and appreciate my family, my friends, and you.
We’ve made it this far, my friends. Great things are on the way! I can’t wait to experience them together. Don’t lose hope. Don’t give up now. We’ve come this far. We’ll get there. You’ll see.
