Hey everyone! I’d like to introduce you to my friend Rocky — aka “Raquel.” We met at the 2023 Arthritis Foundation Charity Auto Show and met up again at this year’s show!
Rocky is an amazing young woman who certainly knows a thing or two about “not giving up.”
This year, Rocky’s mom & dad joined her when she stopped by our PSNeverGiveUp booth — along with friends from Spain and Venezuela — to say hello and pick up some PSNeverGiveUp merchandise!
Using Lola as our translator, our new friends told us how the idea of PSNeverGiveUp really spoke to them — as they are also dealing with chronic illness and being separated from their families.
It was an especially powerful moment for me when Rocky surprised me by getting out of her wheelchair to take a picture. I will always cherish this special memory.
