#ThrowbackThursday FOX 45 in Dayton, OH! 📺

Before the joint replacement surgeries. Before the deformities. Before kids. My first morning anchor job at FOX 45 in Dayton, Ohio. 📺 Funny thing is, this isn’t even where my broadcasting journey began — but it certainly was a fun chapter.

I had been diagnosed with severe rheumatoid arthritis by then — but you couldn’t tell. I was relatively healthy, hungry, cocky, and ready to take on the world. 😎

It was my first time anchoring a four-hour morning show — with the freedom to be myself. I’m forever grateful to the late Pat Casey who believed in me and gave me the opportunity.

I’m also grateful for everything that has happened since — good and bad — because there’s no true appreciation for what you have without recognizing where you’ve been. 🙏♥️
